Why? Coach Carter is a much better coach with a lot of success the past two years. He's done a tremendous job. Rye Cove is lucky to have him coaching the girls. </div></div>

No slam against Coach C, who is a great coach and a genuinely good guy. Its just that he was not in the picture (he was coaching boys basketball at Lee High) for RC girls basketball when Kelly first got out of college and was seeking employment with Scott Co. Several of us spoke up in favor of seeing her brought on board, but the "powers-that-be" wasn't interested.
And I would like to see what criteria you use to say that Coach C is a better coach. They are both good friends of mine, and after watching both of them coach over the years, I'd say they both get the most out of the talent they have, the utmost goal of any coach. </div></div>

Yeah someone said she quit in the middle of basketball season this year, but I assumed everyone was talking about for next season when Kelly Smith wouldn't be there and I knew Holly graduated this year so I knew she wouldn't be there next season anyway... I was confused I guess..
